I helped design the Draftstars mobile app with a focus on ease of use.
As part of a team of 2 designers we ran multiple rapid experiments to gain a foundational understanding of the Australian market.
Usability testing insights were how to provide users with a better experience for new & existing users.
Affinity mapping allowed us to understand that users were needing guidance in order to place educated bets easily.
Advertising & branding styles were critical to the product launch.
The Marketing team booked high traffic digital advertising billboards around Melbourne to drive activity to the app.
I was tasked to come up with an engaging visual that represented Draftstars as a professional beting platform to be taken seriously.
The app’s release was in time for the AFL Finals, which is equivalent to the American Superbowl or the Stanley Cup, in Australia.
Positive engagement was recorded, & lead to the company’s
success that year.

Visualized the message early through mockups, mood boards, & storyboards to ensure alignment with our strategic goals.
